Athletics

During this round, those who do not qualify for the semi-finals on the first attempt will have one more chance to be added to the final list of qualified athletes.
Team USA’s Noah Lyles, who won gold in the 100-meter dash on Sunday, will also likely be back on the track for the 200-meter dash.
Team sports
The men’s water polo team will play against the country in the pool, while the men’s table tennis team will take on Japan.
The Hockeyroos reached the quarter-finals after winning Group B and will be hoping to progress further for the first time since winning gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
On the water
Tim Anderson and Tristan Carter will also compete in the quarter-finals in the men’s kayak cross, while Olympic champion Matt Wearn will be looking to maintain his lead in the men’s rowing boat.
Newcomers and veterans
At the age of 16, Wu represented Australia at her first Olympic Games in Beijing. This is her fifth Olympic Games and viewers can see her diving in the 10-meter high.
