New ‘dual-launch’ roller coaster coming to Canada’s Wonderland in 2025

A new roller coaster is coming to Canada’s Wonderland next year and the theme park promises it will be “the longest, tallest and fastest launch coaster” in the country.

The coaster, called AlpenFury, was unveiled on Thursday and is a dual-launch coaster that reaches top speeds of 71 mph (115 km/h).

“It will be a thrilling launch at Wonder Mountain, propelling you vertically from the top 160 feet into the air before hurtling through the twists and turns of nine breathtaking inversions – the most inversions for a launch coaster in North America,” Canada’s Wonderland said in a press release.
