“I would say he is stable and most likely he will be released,” WPS acting chief Art Stannard said at a news conference Sunday evening.
Stannard said the deceased man has not yet been identified.
Stannard said the WPS held a press conference to “add some details to the videos” circulating online of police shooting the man.
“We are aware of videos online and we warn the public that they do not show the entire incident,” WPS acting chief Art Stannard said.
“I ask the public to let it play out, let IIU do their research and just wait for that before passing judgment. That's what I'm asking for.” he said.
