Free arts and crafts workshops took place in the newly opened Horwich Health & Wellbeing Hub led by artist Alison Greyer.
Up-and-coming artists created hundreds of works of art, which will now be used as inspiration for public artworks and will be showcased at a community event in 2025 to celebrate Northstone's new Cynefin development, located on Victoria Road in Horwich.
Cynefin will soon launch phase one of the plan.
Once completed, the development will comprise more than 200 homes in a range of three, four and five bedroom styles, with 35 per cent of the project being affordable homes in partnership with Bolton at Home.
Chrissie Bramhall, community manager at Northstone said: “We were absolutely delighted to be able to work with Bolton at Home and Horwich Health and Wellbeing Hub to deliver these fantastic arts workshops, allowing residents of all ages to get creative and have lots of fun.
“As a homebuilder, we are very passionate about supporting the communities in which we build. For us, it's all about the people we build the homes for and we want to do our part to ensure that the towns and villages we work in are thriving and full of community spirit!
“The workshops were very well attended and that was great to see! A big thank you to Bolton at Home, Horwich Health & Wellbeing, Horwich Library and of course artist Alison Grayer for what was a very successful series of events.”
