Strictly fans are complaining about the introduction of the week 5 episode

The show begins with the announcement of the judges, where they take their seats at their desks, before the dancing couples are announced one by one and proceed to the ballroom together.

However, some objected to a different choice of music to accompany the judges and dancing couples, as it is not the Strictly theme.

Additionally, some were annoyed that hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman don’t have a grand entrance.

Quite a few took to social media to post their complaints about the changes, which started at the start of the 2024 series.

Strictly speaking, fans make similar complaints about “painful.”

Several Strictly fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to complain that they considered it an inadequate introduction to the show.

One person wrote: “Bring back the strict music. This is painful.”

Another wrote: “No big entrance for Tess and Claudia. Judges two at a time. What is this country.”

Meanwhile, another said: “I wish the judges would just walk up to the theme song and sit down…or better yet, just sit behind the desk already!”

One viewer explained his issues with the film, saying: “The format changes with Claudia and Tess just standing there after the credits and the judges and contestants coming to random songs instead of the theme was initially shocking and remains terrible. Change it back right away!”

Another shared their disgust, writing: “Dear #Strictly, Can we please go back to using the theme tune for celebrity intros. You’re ruining the atmosphere. Thank you.”
