Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is performed by theater group Bolton

The amateur theater group will perform ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ at Walmsley Parish Hall Theater between October 28 and November 2.

The show starts every evening at 7:30 PM, tickets cost € 15.

Based on the 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, the musical comedy follows two con artists as they battle to con a naive heiress.

It features a ‘wonderfully jazzy score’ and was nominated for 11 Tony Awards.

The cast includes Steve Benson as the kindly Lawrence Jameson, and Olivia O’Connell as heiress Christine Colgate.

Mr Benson said the show is: “Fun and instantly catchy, with funny, clever writing.

“I really can’t imagine anyone not enjoying it.”

Miss O’Connell said it is: “Super silly, super funny, but has real heart.”
